MEDITERRA GOLF - Mediterra Golf Membership, Mediterra Golf Map
Mediterra is home to the world’s first 36-hole golf facility to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. Both the North and South courses were designed by Tom Fazio, known as the ‘master of environmentally-sensitive golf course designs.’ Rolling bunkers and land forms were incorporated into the design of the courses to complement the Mediterranean countryside ambience of the community. Memberships are limited to 275 per 18 holes.

The North Course provides a rustic, more natural Florida look with water and sand hazards.
The North Course – the second TF designed championship golf cour ontrasts yet complements, the south course. Features less formal bunkers and vase sand expanses that flor from green to tee on may holes. Tee shots are fair but demanding, placing more emphasis on accuracy. Narrow fairways more challenging, whil approach shots to the greens are more forgiving.

The South Course affords elevated greens, huge chipping areas, and large, expansive hazards.

GOLF LEARNING CENTER
One of the most anticipated amenities in Mediterra is the Golf Learning Center and Short-Game Practice Area located at the south end of The Club’s double-sided driving range. Members appreciate the enclosed hitting station, with video equipment and a launch monitor for analysis from two different angles. Outside, two open hitting stations provide practice area for long shots and private instruction. The short-game practice area features three greens on approximately 2.5 acres and allows members to replicate shots found throughout the North and South Courses.
MEET THE PROS
ROB ANDERSON- PGA, Director of Golf
Rob comes to us from Belfair Plantation, Bluffton, South Carolina, a premier 36 hole residential community, where he served as Director of Golf for the last four years. Previously, Rob was Head Golf Professional at the Frederica Golf Club, Sea Island, Georgia, and The Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, Florida. Prior experience included four years through the 2002 US Senior Open as Assistant Golf Professional at the prestigious Caves Valley Golf Club in Owens Mills, Maryland. He began his career as a seasonal professional at the Bonita Bay Club and the Medalist Club. Rob is a Georgia Tech graduate, where he played college golf with both Stewart Cink and Matt Kuchar.
ADAM BAZALGETTE- PGA, Director of Instruction
Adam grew up in London, England where he took up golf. After moving to Orlando as a teenager he came under the wing of David Leadbetter, taking golf lessons from him for 4 years. After competing on the mini-tours for several years Adam became assistant pro at Errol CC and entered the PGA. After 4 years at Errol, 3 years as a professional golf teacher in Long Island NY, and a year of professional instruction at the Phil Ritson Golf School in Myrtle Beach, Adam went to work for David Leadbetter in 1992. Adam has twice been voted Southwest Florida PGA Teacher of the Year, and has appeared on the Golf Channel numerous times.
